Adverb Start

Today in Hur3 we have been learning about Adverb starts. We first had to practice on our W-starts. I W-start if you don't know is where the first word start with a W. You have to choose out of While, Whilst, Where and When. Then we learnt what a Adverb start was. A adverb is a word that ends with the letters, "ly" Carefully, carelessly and quickly are some of them. We had to do all this with a white board and pen.

Here are 2 examples of W-starts...
While the dog walked, the kid started running after it.
Where did the boy go, no one ever knows.

Here are 2 examples of Adverb starts...
Carefully he placed the picture on the wall.
Quickly the girl ran to school.

Have you done any of these before?
